Welcome to the openEHR Clinical Decision Support Course! This course has been developed in collaboration between Rosaldo Oy and Cambio CDS AB, with contributions from Jimmy Axelsson and Dr. Rong Chen. Jimmy, who has prepared the course materials, also serves as the course facilitator. Whether you’re studying as part of a team or independently, we encourage active participation throughout your learning journey. Engaging in discussions, asking questions, and sharing insights will help you explore the topics from multiple perspectives. If you're studying solo, you’re welcome to direct your questions and comments to the facilitator, who will be available to support you during the course. All participants who complete the course will receive an official certificate of completion.

openEHR & Clinical Decision Support Course Overview
Developed in collaboration between Rosaldo Oy and Cambio CDS AB, this self-paced course introduces healthcare professionals, informaticians, and developers to the fundamentals of Clinical Decision Support (CDS) using openEHR. Participants will learn to build CDS applications leveraging openEHR data models and low-code tools.
Course Highlights:
- Understand the principles and types of Clinical Decision Support systems.
- Gain hands-on experience with the GDL2 Editor to create and test CDS modules.
- Explore the development of production-grade CDS solutions using CDS Studio and CDS Portal.
- Learn about CE-marking requirements for clinical applications.
The course is structured into five parts, covering everything from foundational concepts to practical application development. Upon completion, participants will have a solid understanding of CDS and the skills to develop basic CDS modules. A certificate of completion is awarded to all learners who finish the course.
